Thumbstone is an app for making a little worry stone and rubbing it with your thumb. In short: your stones live on your iPhone. There is no sign-up, no email, no name.
The stones you make (shape, material, the face you draw, toppings, keyring, name) and your rubbing history (how long you rubbed on which day, and each stone's shine) are stored only on your device. We do not have a server that receives them. (The drawing itself, the names and your rubbing history never leave your iPhone; see “App analytics” for the anonymous usage events we do collect.)
You can write down what is on your mind before rubbing. That text is never sent anywhere — not to us, not to advertisers, not to analytics. It is discarded when the rubbing ends.
To learn which parts of the app people use and where they get stuck, Thumbstone uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It sends anonymous usage events such as “a stone was finished”, which shape, material, topping and keyring were picked, which locked item was tapped, how many seconds a rubbing session lasted, and whether a pack purchase succeeded. Firebase also records an app-instance ID (a random ID for this install, not your name or Apple ID), device model, iOS version, app version, and an approximate country derived from your IP address.
These events are not linked to your identity, are not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and are not sold. They never include what you write before rubbing, the face you draw, or your stones’ names. Google processes this data under the Firebase privacy terms. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us.
Thumbstone is free and supported by ads through Google AdMob. Ads are never shown while you are rubbing or before you rub. To show ads, AdMob’s SDK may access device identifiers and advertising data. If you allow tracking (Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt), ads may be personalized; if you decline, you still see ads, but non-personalized ones. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. AdMob’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Packs and Lifetime are processed by Apple (App Store). We never see your payment details.
Thumbstone is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

문지르기 전에 적는 글은 어디로도 전송되지 않습니다. 저희에게도, 광고·분석 업체에도 가지 않으며, 문지르기가 끝나면 버려집니다.
어떤 기능을 쓰고 어디서 막히는지 알기 위해 Google Analytics for Firebase를 사용합니다. ‘돌을 완성함’, 고른 모양·재질·토핑·키링, 눌러 본 잠긴 아이템, 문지른 시간(초), 팩 구매 성공 여부 같은 익명 사용 이벤트가 전송됩니다. Firebase는 앱 설치별 무작위 ID(이름이나 Apple ID가 아님), 기기 모델, iOS·앱 버전, IP로 추정한 대략적인 국가도 함께 기록합니다.
이 정보는 신원과 연결되지 않으며, 다른 회사의 앱·웹사이트를 넘나드는 추적에 쓰이지 않고, 판매하지 않습니다. 문지르기 전에 적는 글, 그린 얼굴, 돌 이름은 절대 포함되지 않습니다. 데이터 처리는 Firebase 개인정보 보호 약관을 따르며, 분석 데이터는 최대 14개월 보관됩니다.
매일 알림을 켜면 iPhone 안에서 예약됩니다. 저희에게 전송되는 것은 없습니다.
Thumbstone은 무료이며 Google AdMob 광고로 운영됩니다. 문지르는 중이나 문지르기 전에는 광고가 나오지 않습니다. 광고를 위해 AdMob SDK가 기기 식별자와 광고 데이터에 접근할 수 있습니다. 추적을 허용하면(Apple 앱 추적 투명성) 맞춤 광고가, 거부하면 비맞춤 광고가 나옵니다. iOS 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 데이터 처리는 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
팩과 평생 이용권은 Apple(App Store)이 처리합니다. 결제 정보는 저희가 보지 않습니다.
